Associate, Hogan Lovells
Nata Ghibradze is a Foreign Associate at International Arbitration Group of Hogan Lovells International LLP, Munich Office. She focuses on international arbitration and regularly represents clients as counsel in arbitrations involving energy, automotive, M&A and construction sectors. Nata has experience in arbitrations seated in various jurisdictions such as Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and Denmark under the arbitration rules of the ICC, German Arbitration Institution (DIS), Danish Institute of Arbitration
(DIA) and the Swiss Rules.
Nata holds a double degree in Law and Business from Bucerius Law School and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. She completed her legal education at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and holds an admission from the Georgian Bar. Nata is an advocate for academic activities. As a student, she successfully took part in a number of international moot competitions and later coached Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition teams from Tbilisi State University.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Nata practiced at another international law firm in Frankfurt focusing on international arbitration, at an eminent Georgian boutique law firm and at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.
Nata regularly speaks and publishes on international arbitration. She is a founder and a supervisory board member of the Georgian non-governmental organization Arbitration Initiative Georgia (AIG) and is also an active member of several professional associations (including ArbitralWomen, ICC YAF, LCIA YIAG, Young ICCA, ICDR Y&I, DIS40, ASA below 40). She is fluent in English, German and Russian and is of course able to advise clients in her native tongue, Georgian.
